Stump Grinder (240 lbs) – Toro SGR-13

The Toro SGR-13 walk-behind stump grinder is the smallest of our stump grinders, weighing in at 240 lbs. It has foldable handles that allow it to fit in smaller vehicles for transport, as well as additional lift handles that make loading and unloading easy. Its compact size also means that it is maneuverable, allowing access to hard-to-reach stumps.

As a stump grinder is guided back and forth across a stump, a rotating blade chews away at the stump, reducing the height of the stump with each pass, and producing wood chips in the process. After grinding a stump, the roots of the tree will be left to decompose.
